Dima Awar is a Lebanese-American fashion designer and illustrator. She was born in 1991. Her interest in fashion started at the age of 5. She studied fashion design at one of America's best design universities, Virginia Commonwealth University, and graduated with a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree in 2013. She furthered her knowledge in couture by interning at couture houses in the summer. Her love and appreciation for detail is reflected in her haute couture designs. With a hint of architecture, Dima Awar's garments reflect the essence of luxury and glamour. Her ready-to-wear and couture lines are geared towards women of all ages.  Her art pieces reflect her appreciation for realism, as well as abstraction.
